Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
We’ll start things off with the Battle of Florida, as the Miami Heat visit their rivals, the Orlando Magic. Neither team is starting the season as healthy as they’d like to be, with Tyler Herro out for the Heat and Mo Wagner and possibly Jalen Suggs out for the Magic.
Luckily for the Heat, they basically stole Norman Powell in the offseason, who will fill the scoring void while Herro is out (and when he is back as well). My line is Orlando -2.5, so the Heat on the spread is the play.
Best Bet: Miami +8.5 (-109)
Washington Wizards vs Milwaukee Bucks
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
Oh boy, outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo (and Myles Turner, to a degree), this Milwaukee Bucks roster is not looking too hot. Luckily for them, they get to start the season at home against the Washington Wizards.
The Wizards are going to suck once again. And Giannis is going to do Giannis things, which he’ll have to do for Milwaukee to have any chance this season. My line is Milwaukee -17, so the Bucks are the play.
