NBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, June 8th (NBA Finals Game 2)

Not only did the Oklahoma City Thunder totally blow Game 1 of the NBA Finals on their home court, but most importantly, they blew my best bet. BECAUSE THE THUNDER ALWAYS COVER AND THEY DIDN’T COVER!!! Off to Game 2, we go. Here are your NBA predictions and preview for Sunday, June 8th.

NBA Predictions & Preview For Sunday, June 8th (NBA Finals Game 2)

Indiana Pacers vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

Apparently, the books and the betting public are expecting the Oklahoma City Thunder to come out firing on all cylinders for Sunday’s Game 2, because after being a 9.5-point favorite for Game 1 – and losing – they are now an 11-point favorite for Game 2.

The Thunder don’t like getting embarrassed. They are 17-2 in the game after a defeat, with an average margin of victory of 17.5 points. That’s a scary proposition for the Indiana Pacers, especially with this game taking place at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center in front of the rabid Thunder faithful.

Plus, three of the Pacers’ four losses during this magical playoff run have been by 16 points or more. But they are also the kings of the comeback and the kings of crushing their opponent on their home floor.

As you can see, I’m torn between my picks here. Ultimately, I think the Pacers can at least keep the game close enough to cover the spread for us. Indiana plus the points is my best bet for Sunday.
