New York Knicks vs Boston Celtics

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

Two of the NBA’s cornerstone franchises meet up in one of the Eastern Conference Semifinals this season, as the #3 New York Knicks visit the second-seeded Boston Celtics. The Celtics have been chilling for a bit now after dispatching the Orlando Magic, while the Knicks are fresh off a grueling six-game series against the Detroit Pistons.

The Celtics are going to win this game, as they did the other four times they’ve faced the Knicks this season. They’re the superior team, and they’re rested. Boston -7 is my line, however, so the play is on New York to cover.

Denver Nuggets vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Start Time – 9:30 PM EST

Out West, we have another rested team, the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder, facing the Denver Nuggets, who clawed their way to a 4-3 series win over the Los Angeles Clippers. This is the ultimate test of the young, unproven Thunder, going up against a championship team with the league’s best player on it.

But this Thunder team has passed all the tests they’ve faced this season, and the difference in depth between these two teams is stark. Oklahoma City -12 is my line, so the Thunder will cover for us.
