Portland Trail Blazers vs Houston Rockets

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The Portland Trail Blazers and the Houston Rockets wrap up their ‘baseball series’ tomorrow in Houston, with the hometown Rockets winning Game 1 on Friday by 28 points. I was in on Houston at -11.5 for that game, and I’m in for them again tomorrow at -12.5.

This is still not a wide enough line for these two teams – I have Houston as a 20.5-point favorite even before the stats from Friday night’s game are considered. It’s the same breakdown as yesterday – Houston is one of the league’s best teams and Portland stinks.

Charlotte Hornets vs Milwaukee Bucks

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

I don’t feel as strongly about this play as the Houston one, and my numbers don’t feel as strongly about it either, but we’ve got a small slate tomorrow so we’ll make it work. And the numbers say – as they have often this season – that the value is on the side of the Charlotte Hornets.

The Milwaukee Bucks are finally putting things together, so if they win on Saturday night it won’t be a shock. However, I don’t think they’ll cover. They played on Friday night, so this is a back-to-back. I think the line should be Milwaukee -5.5, so Charlotte’s the play.
