Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – January 1
Jarrett Allen – Higher than 28.5 Points + Rebounds
Aginst Dallas two games ago, Allen nearly cleared this projection just with the boards. He did clear this number the next game with just his points – nabbing 30 against Milwaukee. If you take his average over the last three games, it’s nowhere close to this number. He’s averaging 41.7 on the combination over that span, so let’s ride with the hot hand here.
Cade Cunningham – Higher than 25.5 Points
He keeps blowing this number out of the water and they keep not changing it. His number was listed at 22.5 on Tuesday, and then 23.5 on Thursday. They finally ran it up to 25.5 on Saturday and haven’t changed it for Monday’s action. In all of those previous games he’s gone for at least 30 points, is there a reason to believe he’ll come short of that here?
Terry Rozier – Higher than 4.0 Rebounds
Maybe this isn’t the stat line that you think of when you hear the name Terry Rozier. However, he’s been all over this line in the last four games. He’s averaging 5.67 rebounds per game in that time span. While he has been ill as of late, they’ve upgraded him to probable. We’ll take advantge of them lowering his numbers due to the uncertainty.
