Tuesday brings us the final day of games of the opening round of the NBA’s inaugural in-season tournament. With 10 Eastern Conference teams and seven Western Conference teams still in the running for a place in the quarterfinals, teams should be going all out tomorrow. Here are my NBA picks for November 28th.

NBA Picks November 28th
Chicago Bulls vs. Boston Celtics
Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST
Spread: Celtics -12.5
Total: 217
Newsflash – the Chicago Bulls suck. They can have as many players-only meetings as they want, and they’ll still suck. They’ve lost four straight games and seven of their last eight. Plus they are a sparkling 1-7 on the road. The Boston Celtics, meanwhile, are very, very good – the best in the league, in fact. And they’re still alive in the in-season tournament but need to crush the Bulls to keep their hopes alive. Even without Kristaps Porzingis, I think this will be doable for the Celtics at home. And I think we’re going over 217 points.
Best Bet: Celtics -12.5 (-109), Bulls/Celtics Over 217 (-112)
Houston Rockets vs. Dallas Mavericks
Tipoff – 8:30 pm EST
Spread: Mavericks -5.5
Total: 233
The Dallas Mavericks are eliminated from advancing in the in-season tournament, while the surprising Houston Rockets are still in the running. The young Rockets are getting it done with defense, leading the league in opponent’s points per game. So I definitely like the Under in this game. But I also like the Rockets at +5.5, despite them going 0-5 on the road so far this season. Hey, they have to win a road game eventually, right?! Why not make it one that counts, tomorrow in Dallas?
Best Bet: Rockets +5.5 (-110), Rockets/Mavericks Under 233 (-112)
