NBA Picks November 14th

Orlando Magic vs. Brooklyn Nets

Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST

Spread: Nets -3

Total: 218.5

The Orlando Magic travel to Brooklyn to face the Nets tonight. I am backing the Orlando Magic in the first half of this game. Thus far this season, in the first half, the Magic are 8-1 SU and 8-1 ATS. In fact, the Magic possess the second-best defensive rating (103.1) and third-best offensive rating (119.2) in the first half this season. As a result, the Magic have the second-best net rating.

Meanwhile, the Nets have the 9th worst defensive rating in the first half and a net rating of -2.8, which ranks 18th. The Magic also have the rest advantage in this game, and I expect them to get out to a fast start again.

Best Bet: Magic 1H +1.5 & Magic 1H ML +115

San Antonio Spurs vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Tipoff – 7:30 pm EST

Spread: Thunder -9.5

Total: 237

The battle between the two rookies takes place tonight in Oklahoma City between Victor Wenbanyama and Chet Holmgren. I am looking to continue fading the San Antonio Spurs defense in this game against the Thunder. Thus far this season, the Spurs have the 2nd worst overall defensive rating (119.8), which stays consistent as the 2nd worst on the road (125.7).

Furthermore, on the road, the Spurs are allowing 127.2 points per game to their opponents. Over their last two road games, the Spurs have allowed 152 and 126 points, respectively. The Thunder have the 8th-best offensive rating this season and are also playing at the 6th fastest pace.

Best Bet: Thunder TT Over 123.5

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets

Tipoff – 10:00 pm EST

Spread: Nuggets -4.5

Total: 225

This one is simple for me: I will continue fading the Los Angeles Clippers in the James Harden era until they can figure out their offensive woes. In the four games that Harden has played in this season for the Clippers, they have an offensive rating of 108.0. Further, the Clippers possessed an offensive rating of 118.5 in the five games without Harden.

Lastly, in the four games Harden has been on the floor for the Clippers, they have lost each of those games by a minimum of four points. Now, the Clippers have to travel to altitude to take on the reigning champions, who are 4-2 (66.7%) ATS and 6-0 SU.

Best Bet: Nuggets -4.5

YTD Record: 6-0
