Jalen Brunson – Higher than 5.0 Assists
Knicks’ point guard Jalen Brunson hit six assists in the team’s season opener against Atlanta, and I think he can do at least that well on Saturday in New Orleans. He’s averaged over six dimes per game since he moved to Gotham and started running the show for the Knickerbockers. Higher than 5.0 assists on Saturday it is.
CJ McCollum – Higher than 4.5 Assists
Let’s take another higher than assists play in the Knicks-Pelicans game, and peg CJ McCollum to go over that number. He got six helpers in the Pels’ opener, and has averaged a half a dozen since being traded to The Big Easy. He’ll have Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram to feed the ball to on Saturday – five assists or more should be doable.
Jaren Jackson Jr – Higher than 3.5 Fouls
Outside of his elite defensive skills, Jaren Jackson Jr, the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year, is best known as a hacker. The man has never met an opponent he doesn’t want to foul. And this season is no different, as he had five whistles go against him in the season opener. Averaging 3.7 fouls per game for his career, I’m saying he gets at least four on Saturday.
