College Football Pick Of The Day (November 6th): NCAA Week 10 Spread Pick

For today’s college football Week 10 pick of the day, I’m looking at the road trip for number 5 UCLA as they head to Minnesota. The Bruins have been one of the season’s best stories under first-year coach Bob Chesney. They aren’t just undefeated. They’re also undefeated against the spread while ranking among the nation’s best defenses, allowing just 13.4 points per game.

UCLA’s offense has stayed productive even after losing starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava to injury. Backup Ty Dieffenbach has stepped in and played well. He’s been helped by Wayne Knight, who has run for 680 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Minnesota is tough at home and has recently beaten teams like Iowa as well as gone into overtime against Indiana. However, UCLA seems to be a special team, and their defense should bottle Minnesota up.

This has dropped a point from -5.5 just a few days ago. I’m going to fade the public and take UCLA.

The Pick: UCLA -4.5
