The NBA season has turned ugly on me, as I’ve dropped five straight bets. But I expected to struggle a bit in the early days of the season until we get a handle on which teams are actually good. Here are your NBA picks, preview & predictions for Monday, Oct 26th.

Washington Wizards vs Charlotte Hornets

Start Time – 7:00 PM EST

Two teams off to strong 2-1 starts meet up tomorrow in Charlotte, as the Hornets host the new-look Washington Wizards. And since this is the NBA, key players will be missing in action, including #1 draft pick AJ Dybantsa, who has yet to suit up for the Wiz, and Kon Knueppel and Coby White for the home side.

Because of the injuries and both teams’ early form, I think Washington will cover the spread, so they’re the play.

Chicago Bulls vs Boston Celtics

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

New Boston Celtic Paul George has not appeared on the injury report yet this season, and has come out of the gate hot, leading the team in scoring. We’ll check back at a later time to see how that trade is playing out.

This is another game where my research leads me to the dog. While I expect the Celtics to win on their home floor, I do like the young Chicago Bulls to keep it close(ish).
