MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 123
UFC Fight Night: Moicano vs Nolan (aka UFC Vegas 123)
Main Card Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
While Alexander Volkanovski has plenty of experience headlining UFC fight cards, countryman Tom Nolan will be getting his first shot in the top spot this weekend against Renato Moicano. And, like Volkanovski, he enters the fight (at least at this point) as a slight underdog.
And, like Volkanovski, I’m going with Nolan to prevail as a live dog. I’m concerned about the damage and wear and tear Moicano has accumulated over his career, and Nolan is 11 years his junior and bigger (four inches taller, one-inch reach advantage). Plus, Nolan can grapple, which is where Moicano makes hay.
UFC Vegas 123 Main Card Pick: Tom Nolan ML (+101)
