Football Pick of the Day (October 19th): NFL Week 6 Spread Pick
Washington Commander vs San Francisco 49ers
8:15pm – Monday – October 19th
The 49ers have been an absolute wagon this year. They not only have beaten all of the competition that has come their way, but they have handled it with relative ease. Their average margin of victory is 12.2 points on the year, and they’ve done it in myriad ways. Brock Purdy has gone off for nearly 300 yards, but has also been held under 200 yards. Christian McCaffery has been hot and cold. The important part is that regardless as to who is off their game that day, there are always half a dozen guys to pick up the slack.
The same can’t be said for a Commanders team flying across the entire country for a Monday night game. They have a quarterback who is banged up and fresh off of one of the bigger clock management blunders on the season. Jacory Croskey-Merritt has been ruled out for action for this one altogether. And to make matters worse, their defense has given up at least 27 points in four consecutive weeks.
The 49ers should score at will here and I doubt the Commanders will have the firepower to keep it within a score.
