We only have two games on the NHL schedule tomorrow, but luckily they both involve two of the league’s worst defenses. The Blue Jackets would be the leaky D in this matchup.
Unfortunately for Columbus, they are up against two of the hottest scorers in the league tomorrow. The Minnesota Wild’s Kirill Kaprizov leads the league with nine goals, and Matt Boldy has five tallies in his last three games. I’m going with Boldy tomorrow.
Carolina Hurricanes vs Calgary Flames
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Calgary Flames allow even more goals than the Blue Jackets do, with the added problem of not being able to score any of their own. That’s a bad combo when you’re facing the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Carolina Hurricanes.
I’m going the ‘Canes Jackson Blake to score tomorrow, despite only having one goal this season. His shooting percentage is way lower than his career average, so I expect him to get hot soon.
