Football Pick of the Day (October 12th): NFL Week 5 Moneyline Pick
Buffalo Bills vs Los Angeles Rams
8:15pm – Monday – October 12th
After a lucrative Sunday for our picks, we look to keep the success moving into Monday Night Football. That success will start and end with the home Rams as they look to fend off the Buffalo Bills.
There’s just nothing that can help me get behind the Bills on the road after last week. After Drake Maye looked listless for three weeks, he showed up against Buffalo and looked like an MVP. They could stop him throwing, running, or doing anything else he wanted to do. That has been a theme for this defense, who has allowed at least 29 points in three of four games. The only game where they stayed under that was when they allowed 16 to the Chargers, which was their season-high at that point.
All of that spells disaster against a Rams team who knows how to score. Not only does Matt Stafford rank in the top five of passing yards, but they have started to pick up with the rushing yards as well. After a rough first game, Kyren Williams has now ripped off three straight 80-yard performances. With the Bills defense looking as bad as it has, look for the Rams to exploit it and cash the moneyline.
