After a UFC 332 fight card that grossly overperformed, the UFC (and us fans) hope for the same this weekend as they head back to the Meta APEX. Top middleweight contenders headline the fight card because the Meta APEX is all about the middleweights. For my MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Vegas 122, I’m parlaying two of the women fighting on the card. Let’s get it on, c’mon

MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Vegas 122
UFC Fight Night: Allen vs Duncan (aka UFC Vegas 122)
Start Time: 5:00 PM EST
The two women in question are Lupita “Loopy” Godinez, who is fighting third from the top in a strawweight bout against Ketlen Souza, and Alice Pereira, who’s on the prelims facing Darya Zheleznyakova at bantamweight.
Godinez has a very clear path to victory, and it’s what she’s best at (and what Souza’s worst at) – grappling. Look for Loopy to get Souza down to the mat early and often.
Pereira is still only 20 years old, and will continue to take leaps and bounds over the next few years. I expect her to look even better than her last fight when she faces her Russian opponent on Saturday.
