Week 5 of the NFL season is here & we are back with another opportunity to attack the board with a teaser. This week’s three-leg teaser features the Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiders, and Houston Texans. We’re moving Cincinnati from -7 to -1, Las Vegas from +3.5 to +9.5, and Houston from -7.5 to -1.5. After four weeks, each team presents an interesting case for receiving six additional points before Sunday’s games.
NFL Week 5 Teaser
Cincinnati Bengals -7 to -1
The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 5 at 2-2 after losing a frustrating 22-17 home game against Jacksonville last Sunday. Despite the loss, Joe Burrow threw for 428 yards while Tee Higgins recorded 157 receiving yards. Cincinnati now travels to Miami, where the Bengals are currently favored by seven points. Even at home, the Dolphins have no business keeping this game close. Moving Cincinnati to -1 means they only need to win by two points.
Las Vegas Raiders +3.5 to +9.5
The Las Vegas Raiders enter Week 5 with a 3-1 record after narrowly losing 30-27 against Kansas City. Las Vegas had previously won three consecutive games, including impressive road victories against the Chargers and Saints. The Raiders now travel to New England who just upset the Bills. The Raiders are receiving 3.5 points before the six-point teaser adjustment. Moving Las Vegas to +9.5 provides tremendous protection against a Patriots team who is looking to make it two in a row.

Houston Texans -7.5 to -1.5
The Houston Texans are still searching for their first victory after falling to Dallas 34-30 during Week 4. Houston led by ten points at halftime before allowing the Cowboys to complete their comeback. Despite their 0-4 record, the Texans have remained competitive while facing several challenging opponents. Now heading to Tennessee to take on the Titans who also have yet to win a game. I don’t think Cam Ward is an NFL QB and have no faith in their offense. Moving Houston from -7.5 to -1.5 means they only need to win by two points, making them a great teaser leg.
