Nothing screams hockey like Dallas and Nashville, am I right?! The Dallas Stars will finally get their season underway Friday night at home against the St. Louis Blues, making tomorrow night the second night of a back-to-back, and on the road. But the Stars are expected to be a much higher-tier team than the Blues or the Nashville Predators, whom they play on Saturday, so I think they’ll be ok.
So Dallas is my pick to win tomorrow night. The Stars are a team with Stanley Cup potential if everything clicks, with elite top-end talent in Jason Robertson, Wyatt Johnson, Mikko Rantanen, Miro Heiskanen, and Jake Oettinger. MoneyPuck has Dallas pegged as a 60.5% favorite to beat Nashville on Saturday, but the moneyline we’re getting only corresponds to 55.9%, so the value is there.
Dallas on the moneyline is my best bet for Saturday.
