NFL Week 2 Recap & Rams/Giants Bombs! Recap
CJ Sullivan (@CJSullivan_) ran the Monday NFL Week 2 recap by himself, and the card gave him almost nothing. The Circa Millions five went 1-3 on the day with the Rams still to come. Meanwhile survivor got cleaned out. The afternoon games were barely watchable, and he said so at length. Then he flipped to Rams and Giants at night, where the Terrance Ferguson reception ladder gets a second life and the first-touchdown board is stacked with prices.

The NFL Week 2 Recap Starts With A 1-3 Card
Minnesota was the only winner. CJ had the Vikings getting 4.5 at Chicago and got the outright win instead, in weather he says decided most of it. The Bears scored 59 points in Week 1, then three yesterday. First DeAndre Swift fumbled at the goal line. Caleb Williams pulled up lame running for the end zone, and a field goal got blocked. So no touchdown was scored in that game at all, which was 140-to-1 in the morning. He says the Chicago forecast should have told him that one.
Houston is the loss he still defends. He had the Texans and a show-me under, and the defense did hold Cincinnati down. Then the offense turned 350 yards into six points, and Nico Collins was out on top of it. Green Bay was uglier. They were laying 3.5 at the Jets, then won by exactly three and never got the hook. They did it with under 200 yards of offense and a big punt return, while Aaron Glenn sat on his timeouts in the last minute. Then the Chargers were the third loss, and that one got expensive twice.
Survivor Got Cleaned Out And Surviving CJ Is Still Breathing
The Chargers lost outright to the Raiders, 26-14. Baker Mayfield’s revenge game in Cleveland died in a lightning delay with Tampa down four and the ball at the 28. After that the Bucs came out of the break and did nothing with the ball. Browns 23, Buccaneers 19. Between those two results the Circa field went from 25,000 entries to roughly 8,000. CJ’s solo entries are gone, along with his sister’s, because nobody wanted the chalky Niners. Luke the Young Sharp did, so Surviving CJ is alive and 39 percent of the field is not.
The Chargers segment is where he really lets go. Justin Herbert threw a 30-yard ball off one knee on the opening drive and his own receiver jumped in front of it and knocked it away. The next good throw got bobbled into a Raider interception. They fumbled six times, lost the one that mattered, and lined up in a pistol with a man in motion on third and a foot. Eagles and Tennessee was the one game he calls real football, a 24-20 win built on a Jalen Hurts drive with no timeouts.
Rams And Giants Bombs
Rams minus 7 is his fifth Circa Millions entry, and the number has slid to 6.5 with Puka Nacua’s status in the air. He is not getting off it. He also likes the under 47.5, because the Giants want to grind the clock and the Rams should be able to run at that defense. The bomb is Terrance Ferguson again. The ladder busted in Australia, where Ferguson ran the routes and got the snaps and caught nothing. But Sean McVay rosters five tight ends, and the receiver room behind Puka is Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith.
Three catches for Ferguson is even money. Four is +254, five is +620, and then it gets silly: six catches at 14-to-1 and seven at 26-to-1. Ferguson caught 13 passes all of last season, so the top of that ladder is the actual bomb. First touchdowns are where the rest of it went. Isaiah Likely at 19-to-1 is the Giants play, because he scored twice last week and is their number two target. Malachi Fields at 30-to-1 is the Notre Dame rookie they use near the goal line. Mumpfield at 28-to-1 covers the Rams side if Puka sits.
He is also off Malik Nabers, who is back on the field but not moving like it, and he is not paying chalk there anyway. Blake Corum is the last one. His number is 47.5 rushing yards, and CJ thinks the split with Kyren Williams gets closer to even, so he climbed it to 70 yards at +286, 80 at +450 and 100 at +1040. CJ is at the Tacoma Comedy Club with TJ Miller on Friday and Saturday, two shows a night, and Luke is back Thursday for the next survivor pick. He does not care who wins tonight. He wants the ladder.
