BYU heads to Fort Collins as a 17.5-point road favorite over Colorado State, with the total set at 52.5, kicking off Saturday 9/19 at 7:30p ET from Canvas Stadium. The guys broke it down on the College Football Picks Week 3 episode, and all three landed on the same side.
BYU vs Colorado State Odds
The current line has BYU laying 17.5 on the road, with the total at 52.5.
Our Picks
- Ryan Kramer (@KramerCentric): Colorado State +17.5
- Sean Green (@SeanTGreen): Colorado State +17.5
- Colby Dant (@thecolbyd): Colorado State +17.5
All three are on Colorado State plus the points.
The guys are buying what Jim Mora is building in Fort Collins. They pointed to an offense that has looked good, a team with strong pad level that watches like it is well-coached, and a program with real excitement around it opening its new downtown stadium. As one of them put it, this is Colorado State’s time to shine.
On the BYU side, the guys still rate the Cougars near the top of the Big 12 given how the league is shaping up, but they flagged this as a possible letdown spot coming off an early conference game against Arizona. They also noted BYU has a habit of winning these by single digits rather than blowing teams out, which made laying 17.5 hard to stomach. The guys tossed around a small moneyline sprinkle on Colorado State and an elevation angle in Fort Collins, but talked themselves off both and stuck with the points.
