NFL Week 1 Survivor & Contest Bombs! (Ep. 374)

NFL Week 1 survivor picks with CJ Sullivan on Bottom Line Bombs

NFL Week 1 Survivor Picks: Jaguars Locked And The Circa Millions Five

Football is finally back. CJ Sullivan opened the season the only way Bottom Line Bombs knows how. He rolled out live NFL Week 1 survivor picks, five Circa Millions spread plays, and enough tangents to fill a Tuesday. The real games kick off Wednesday night in New England. The Man in the Box came loaded for the opener. He brought a contest winner along for the ride. First came the survivor board. Then came the five best bets against the number. Then the bits flew. It was a proper season kickoff, and the picks came fast.

The big addition this week is Luke the Young Sharp. He won the Surviving CJ free-roll contest. He also called in from Virginia and earned a seat for the whole season. First up was the Circa Survivor board. The holiday calendar stretches this thing into a 20-week grind. Luke locked the Jacksonville Jaguars over Cleveland. CJ co-signed without much of a fight. Trevor Lawrence, as he put it, is the prince we were promised. A Browns team still sorting out its quarterback is exactly the Week 1 opponent you want when your season is on the line.

Then came the five Circa Millions picks against the spread. CJ laid the points with the Philadelphia Eagles at home over Washington. He trusted the Eagles front seven over a Commanders offense he did not buy. From there, he stayed in the division and took the Pittsburgh Steelers giving it to the Falcons. Then he flipped to the dog with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers catching the number in Cincinnati. He bet on the Bengals sleepwalking through September. The boldest one was the Houston Texans getting a half-point against Buffalo. He leaned on Houston’s defense and Josh Allen’s rough history in that building. Finally, he closed the five with the Carolina Panthers as a home dog against Chicago.

Before the survivor talk, CJ hit the strangest game on the board. The Rams host the 49ers in Melbourne, a Friday morning kickoff halfway around the world. He took San Francisco plus the points and liked the Niners in the spot. He also handed out a Terrence Ferguson reception ladder for anyone sprinkling on the tight end. It is the kind of international-opener sweat that only Bottom Line Bombs would bother to map out. CJ walked through the odds, the travel angle, and the coaching history before landing on his number.

MYBOOKIE BONUS

Between the bets, the show did its thing. CJ ate it on an oil slick during a morning walk down Hollywood Boulevard. Then he riffed on Aaron Rodgers taking a victory lap on his old conspiracy theories. He ranted about staying up for the Alcaraz and Ben Shelton five-setter at the US Open. Meanwhile, he made the case for the night owls over the nine-to-five crowd. There was a plug for the Free Roll Football Contest, with three grand up for grabs. There was also a reminder that SGPN Gives Back is collecting for earthquake relief in Colombia.

One note for the regulars. With the season here, the show is changing its rhythm. CJ is moving off the standalone Wednesday spot. First, Monday will bring recaps and a Monday Night preview. Then Thursday will bring the survivor picks and the Circa Millions five. It is the same show with a new place on your calendar. Same bits, same bombs, same bad beats. Build your week around it. Lock in the Jaguars and go get the contest money. Go Jaguars, and good luck to you.
