Football Pick of the Day (September 4th): NCAA Spread Pick
Colorado Buffaloes vs Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
7:00pm – Friday – September 4th
Last year, these two opened the season with one another and the Yellow Jackets walked away with a seven-point victory. The books have lined the game like they think things are going to be the same, and I’m not so sure that makes any sense.
Sure, Georgia Tech lost Haynes King, who will be the third string quarterback for the Panthers this year, but they also gained a great transfer. To get out of his brother’s shadow, Alberto Mendoza made the switch to Atlanta. While he might not be the mega-prospect that big brother was, with their offensive line, he should be able to connect plenty.
Meanwhile, Colorado didn’t make as big of a splash in the transfer portal. They did grab DeAndre Moore Jr., who should be a factor in stretching the field. However, you have to be concerned by some of the departures on the offensive line.
With Georgia Tech taking bigger steps forward and already being the better team, I like them to cover.
NCAA Spread Pick (September 4th): Georgia Tech -6.5 (-110)
