However, we’re focused on writing the ship before the usual author of this article comes back. To do so, we’ll stick to the diamond on Tuesday. Miami Marlins vs Kansas City Royals

Start Time: 7:40 PM EST

The Marlins closed out another losing series on Monday with the Nationals. The Monday loss dropped them to 2-5 over their last two series with very little working for them on offense. They’ve scored five or more runs just once in that span and have scored three or less in more than half of them. That’s not a good sign with Randy Dobnak taking the hill.

The Royals righty has been stellar this year. In ten starts this year, he’s held opponents to two or less runs in eight of them. That sure makes it seem like the Royals won’t need much in the way of firepower to win this one. And the good news for Kansas City is that there has been plenty of offense to go around.

Over their last 14 games, they’ve posted a 12-2 record. More importantly, they’re putting up 5.71 runs per game in that span. With an offense clicking at the right time, up against one that can’t buy a run, you have to like the Royals moneyline on Tuesday.
