Monday might be a thin slate of games, but there are still plenty of chances to nab some dingers. In total 24 teams are still in action with plenty of hot hitters and questionable pitchers. San Francisco Giants vs Atlanta Braves
Start Time: 6:05 PM EST
There aren’t many hitters right now seeing the ball as well as Drake Baldwin. He has a hit in every game of the Braves seven-game win streak and has multiple in three of those. In total, he’s racked up ten hits and is hitting .400 over that stretch. What’s even better is that he’s got a few extra base hits in there including a monster home run off of Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the first pitch of Thursday’s game.
The pitching matchup will be even more kind to him on Monday. He gets Anthony Molina, who has thrown just 9.1 major league innings this year. Two of those innings were thrown to Baldwin, as Molina played for the Braves at the start of the season. He should be plenty familiar with his mix.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Arizona Diamondbacks
Start Time: 9:40 PM EST
One spot I really like in the evening is Lars Nootbaar. The trade deadline acquisition has been excellent since joining the snakes. More importantly, he’s hot right now. His series with the Giants saw him rack up six hits with four of them going for extra bases. He went yard in both of their wins and seems to be seeing the ball well.
He’s also always saw the ball well against Aaron Nola, who is on the bump for Philadelphia on Monday. He has faced him 12 times and reached in seven of those. That includes three walks and four hits – with two of those going for extra bases.
