It’s Kids Day at the crypto.com Arena tomorrow, so peep the early start time as the Los Angeles Sparks welcome the Phoenix Mercury to town. And the Sparks are always gracious hosts, holding a 5-7 record on their home court this season (which is actually a slight improvement over last season’s 9-13 mark at home).
Los Angeles will be even better hosts tomorrow considering they’ll still be without their star guard Kelsey Plum, who has missed the past month with a leg injury. The Sparks have definitely felt her absence, only going 3-10 with their star laid up on the sidelines. This includes dropping their past four games and seven of their last nine.
So you know where I’m headed with my bet here. After crunching the numbers and taking into account Plum’s absence, my line is Phoenix -0.5. The Mercury plus the points is my best bet for Wednesday.
