Four undefeated teams (maybe five, depending on Monday’s games) hit the court tomorrow in Vegas for Day 6 of summer league action. Here are your NBA Summer League predictions and preview for Tuesday, July 14th.
NBA Summer League Predictions & Preview for Tuesday, July 14th
Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
If the Memphis Grizzlies win on Monday (they’re playing as these words are being typed), this will be two undefeated teams going at it tomorrow, as the Golden State Warriors are 2-0, which is a bit surprising, in the Warriors’ case.
The Grizzlies looking sharp is not a surprise, however. Their #3 overall draft pick Cameron Boozer has been great this summer, as have veterans Cedric Coward, Javon Small, Olivier-Maxence Prosper, and Taylor Hendricks. If they all (most) suit up tomorrow, which is never a given in summer league, then I like Memphis to remain undefeated at the end of the day.
Best Bet: Memphis +3.5 (-110)
Washington Wizards vs Chicago Bulls
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
Another one of those aforementioned undefeated teams is the Washington Wizards, who have mowed down their first two opponents in Las Vegas, with a +11.5-point differential.
Lots of eyes will be on this matchup between the Wizards and Chicago Bulls, as top draft pick AJ Dybantsa has been dominant for the Wiz this summer, while the Bulls’ top draft pick, Caleb Wilson, went off for 35 points in his desert debut.
Washington has a deeper roster, so they’ll cover the spread.
Best Bet: Washington -5.5 (-110)
