Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic
Start Time – 3:30 PM EST
The Battle of Florida kicks off the action tomorrow in Las Vegas, as the 1-0 Miami Heat meet rivals the 0-1 Orlando Magic. The Heat won their first game by 33 points over the Milwaukee Bucks, while the Magic lost by 12 to the Charlotte Hornets.
Yet, we find Miami as the dog in this one. I like the overall depth of the Heat, with an impressive seven players scoring in double-figures in their first game. I’ll take Miami plus the points.
Best Bet: Miami +3.5 (-115)
Atlanta Hawks vs Brooklyn Nets
Start Time – 9:30 PM EST
Two of the strongest teams right out of the gate in Vegas go at it tomorrow evening, as the Atlanta Hawks meet the Brooklyn Nets. Both teams won their openers by 26+ points.
If the Nets roster keeps playing every game and guys don’t sit, they are going to be hard to beat, as they’ve got a high-level rookie (Mikel Brown Jr – 20 points in his debut) and lots of veterans (Egor Demin, who scored 20 as well, Danny Wolf, and Ben Saraf).
Best Bet: Brooklyn -1.5 (-115)
