Now that those pesky Stanley Cup Playoffs are out of the way, I’m cooking on my daily best bets once more. I’ve hit three straight and five of my last seven bets. And it’s all thanks to the WNBA. Minnesota Lynx vs Golden State Valkyries

Start Time: 10:00 PM EST

The Golden State Valkyries were one of my cash cows last season, when the expansion franchise snuck up on a lot of teams and had a great debut season. This year, the Valkyries aren’t sneaking up on anyone, but are still dominant, running up a 10-5 record.

But they aren’t as dominant as the Minnesota Lynx, despite the Lynx missing their superstar, Napheesa Collier, for the full season (she’s hopefully returning by the end of the month). Rookie Olivia Miles has been a revelation in her first year, leading the team in scoring and assists.

The Lynx have also been deadly away from the Twin Cities, going 6-1 on the road, which is where they’ll be tomorrow when they visit the Bay. My line for Friday night’s game is Minnesota -4.5, so I’m going with the visitors on the spread as my best bet to kick off the weekend.
