Daily NBA Player Props – May 2nd
VJ Edgecombe – Over 6.5 Rebounds (+131)
Edgecombe set the world on fire with a 30-point double-double back in Game 2. Everyone was talking about him, and then he unceremoniously disappeared from the scoring side of things for the next four games. Where he didn’t disappear is on the boards. He’s now cleared this projection is four of his last five games and is averaging 7.8 rebounds per game in that span.
Jayson Tatum – Over 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-119)
Speaking of guys who have been busy on the boards, Jayson Tatum has been cleaning glass since he got back from injury. He’s averaging 10.7 boards per game in this series and that really puts us in a good place for this PRA play. He’s scored 24 or more in four of the six games of this series. If he can keep those numbers up, he would need just six assists to get to this mark – and that would be the floor.
Derrick White – Over 1.5 Three-Pointers (-198)
The numbers on this prop might be a little chalky, but I think it’s worth it to lay on White. He’s averaging 6.5 attempts per game in the series and has hit in four of six. Three-pointers now make up the majority of the shots he’s taking, so if he’s going to be involved in the offense at all in Game 7, this will be how. Hitting two of them is a ridiculously small ask.
