This Eastern Conference First Round series between the Montreal Canadiens and the Tampa Bay Lightning has been as tight as a series can be. Each of the six games thus far has been decided by one goal, with four of them going into overtime. Each team has won two of three games on the road, as well. Now it all comes down to tomorrow’s Game 7 in Florida.
So who wins out, one of the league’s best road teams, the Canadiens, or one of the league’s best home teams, the Lightning? I’m going with the safe play and betting on the home team. Historically, the home side wins right around 60% of their playoff games, including Game 7s. Look for Tampa Bay to continue that trend tomorrow night and finish off what has been an epic series.
