#1 South Carolina Gamecocks vs #1 UCLA Bruins

The SEC’s South Carolina Gamecocks will meet the Big Ten’s UCLA Bruins for the first time this season tomorrow in the desert, in what is also the most important game of the year. The Gamecocks shocked the UConn Huskies to get here, while the Bruins dispatched the Texas Longhorns in a Final Four with only #1 seeds.
At least on paper, this looks like a very tight matchup, with UCLA having the better offense and South Carolina the better defense. While you have to be on a hot roll to make it this far, the Bruins are on an incredible heater, winning their last 30 games, with their only loss this season coming at the hands of Texas back in November.
After my number crunching, I’ve come up with the line of South Carolina -0.5, so the Bruins plus the points is my best bet for Sunday.
