On Monday, we return to our regularly scheduled single game this week. Monday Night Football will feature a pair of team with lofty expectations and the need to make a move right now. Both teams overcame a tough Week 1 loss to blow out their opponent in the following week. Under the bright lights of M&T Bank Stadium, which team will get their much needed second win? Come check out our Lions-Ravens preview to find out.
As previously mentioned, the Lions came out of the gate a bit lame. They failed to get very much offense going against the Packers and dropped the contest by a pair of touchdowns. However, Jared Goff took matters into his own hands in Week 2. He tossed five touchdown passes at home against the Bears and hung 52 points on them. Judging by what we’ve seen from these two, they may need a repeat performance if they’re to be victorious in this one.
The Ravens had a similar story. After seeming to put the Bills away to start the year, they gave it away – ultimately losing by just one point. They took a lot of that frustation out the next week with the Browns coming to town. They threw up a gaudy 41 points and won by 24 points. Lamar Jackson, not to be outdone, passed for four touchdowns.

Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens Preview and Predictions
Zay Flowers Anytime Touchdown (-110)
So far on the year, the Ravens have scored 11 offensive touchdowns. Of those 11, only 3 of them have come on the ground. They’ve needed to rely on the passing game to put points up on the board and have managed to snag four scores through the air each week. Half of those eight touchdowns belong to Zay Flowers. However, its not just the touchdown success that has me jacked up. He’s already seen 20 targets in this short season, which let’s me know he’s getting open for Jackson.
Baltimore Ravens -4.5 (-110)
I appreciate the bounceback from the Lions in Week 2. However, I don’t think very highly of that Bears defense that they were able to rip apart. On the other side of things, the Ravens offense looked good even in a loss. They put up 40 points on the Bills and it was really their defense that let them down. In this one, I expect a shootout and just think that the Ravens have a bit more firepower. So for my Lions-Ravens prediction, I’ll lay the points in this one.
