The UFC octagon is on the move again this week, leaving the Smoothie Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and heading across the world to the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, this coming Saturday for UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs de Ridder (aka UFC Abu Dhabi). MMA Main Card Pick of the Week: UFC Abu Dhabi
UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs de Ridder (aka UFC Abu Dhabi)
Main Card Start Time: Saturday – 3:00 PM EST – (ABC/ESPN+)
There are some long odds for many of Saturday’s main card fights, but that’s not the case for the light matchup between Ukrainian Nikita Krylov and Uzbekistan’s Bogdan Guskov. And we’re going with the moderate favorite, the Ukrainian.
‘The Miner’ has many advantages in this fight, including the superior experience, the better striking (although with a little less power), the better chin, and by far his biggest advantage – his grappling. Krylov shoots lots of takedowns in his fights, and Guskov has shown an inability to keep on his feet – he’s been taken down in three of his four UFC fights.
