Chicago White Sox vs Colorado Rockies
Start Time: 8:10 PM EST
I’m sure the White Sox and the Rockies are not a showdown that anyone was looking forward to for the holiday, but they do have a really great prop that we can all get excited about.
Adrian Houser is on the bump for the White Sox. While he’s never been a big strikeout guy, he has been pitching late into games as of late. In three of his last four games, he’s had at least five strikeouts. That includes two times that he we for six of them.
In addition to Houser handling this projection plenty in the past, this is a sell-high moment for the Rockies batters. They only struck out three times last game, which is a season low for them. Additionally, they only fanned 8.00 times a game over their last three. However, that still only lowers their season numbers to 9.84 per game, which is worst in the league.
The Rockies are going to regress to the mean, which should give Houser all the chance to cash the over.
