For the 43rd straight year, Madison Square Garden will host the Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament, which tips off tomorrow with three opening-round games. Seeds six through 11 will battle for the reward of playing one of the top three seeds on Thursday. Seton Hall Pirates vs Villanova Wildcats

Wednesday’s final game of three features the #6 Villanova Wildcats facing the #11 Seton Hall Pirates. An 11-9 Big East record vs a 2-18 conference record. It’s no surprise that the Pirates are a sizable dog tomorrow.
However, they aren’t sizable enough dogs for my liking. Offense and defense and advanced stats are all in Villanova’s favor. They also went 2-0 against Seton Hall this season. The Wildcats covering the spread is the first half of my winning parlay.
For the second half, I’m hammering the over. The point total for tomorrow is set at only 125.5 points. This may be because the last time Seton Hall and Villanova played, they only combined for 113 points. However, this seems like an aberration, as they scored 146 in their first encounter this season, and both teams’ average game totals were well over 125.5 points for the season.
