Pittsburgh Panthers vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Pittsburgh Panthers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish haven’t exactly had stellar seasons, with their identical 8-12 ACC records getting them the #13 and #12 seeds, respectively in this tournament. But it’s March and time for Cinderella to reappear, so anything is possible.
But not for the Fighting Irish, who I’m predicting will lose tomorrow to the Panthers in their first-round game. Notre Dame beat Pitt in their only meeting this season, but the Panthers are the superior team despite this. Offense, defense, strength of schedule, and other advanced stats are all in the Panthers’ favor.
After crunching the numbers, I’ve come up with the line of Pittsburgh -6.5, so the Panthers on the spread is my best bet for Tuesday.
