Tis the season for college basketball, and despite losing on my college basketball parlay on Monday, I’m returning to that well again on Tuesday. And, as the logo above hints at, I’ve cooked up a winning Same Game Parlay for an opening round game from the Horizon League Basketball Championship. IU Indianapolis Jaguars vs Wright State Raiders
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The game in question would be the #9 seeded IU Indianapolis Jaguars visiting the #8 seed, the Wright State Raiders, in their home gym, the Nutter Center. The fact that it’s the Jaguars’ home gym is the key here.
Wright State is very strong at home this season, going 10-4 (and 4-13 on the road – yuck), while IU Indianapolis has only managed to win three road games in 14 tries. That includes an 18 point loss in the Nutter Center in early February. Wright State covering the spread is the first half of the parlay.
Secondly, we’re hammering the over 154.5 points for this game’s total. In these two teams’ previous meetings this season, they combined for 164 and 175 points. That’s enough wiggle room for me.
