That’s because conference tournament time is upon us. Best Bet For Tuesday (March 4th): College Basketball Predictions
IU Indianapolis Jaguars vs Wright State Raiders
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Nutter Center would be the home of the Wright State Raiders basketball team, who as the #8 seed will be hosting the #9 seeded IU Indianapolis Jaguars tomorrow night. While the Raiders are only 14-17, 10 of those wins (against four losses) have come in the Nutter Center. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are a putrid 3-11 on the road.
The home-court advantage is a key factor in this handicapping for me, as the two teams split their two matchups this season, with IU Indianapolis winning their last meeting (both teams’ last game, actually) on their home court by seven points. However, they got crushed the last time they visited the Nutter Center (in early February), losing by 18.
After taking into account the home-court advantage and crunching other advanced stats, I’ve come up with the spread of Wright State -11. That means the Raiders covering for us is the best bet for Tuesday.
