Vanderbilt Commodores vs Kentucky Wildcats
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Conference play hasn’t been too kind to the Vanderbilt Commodores or the Kentucky Wildcats, as their 5-7 and 6-6 (respective) conference records have them both in the bottom half of the conference standings. However, one of Vandy’s conference wins was against this very same Kentucky team, who they beat at home by five points late last month.
Yet I’m going with the Wildcats to even the score on their home turf – Rupp Arena – tomorrow night. Home cooking is the name of the game, as Kentucky is a sparkling 13-2 on their home court this season, while Vanderbilt is an abysmal 2-5 on the road, including dropping their last five away games
Crunching the numbers (home court advantage, point differential, strength of schedule, blah blah blah), I have this game lined up as Kentucky -10, so we’re getting plenty of value on the Wildcats on the spread.
