Alabama Crimson Tide vs Texas Longhorns
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
One of the aforementioned ranked teams in action tomorrow is the #2 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, owners of a 20-3 record and an SEC-best 9-1 conference mark (tied with Auburn). At 15-9 (4-7), things aren’t as rosy in the Texas Longhorns’ camp, however, the advanced stats have them ranked as the 30th-best team in the country, so there’s hope things will start to revert to the mean for them. Alabama should only be a two-point favorite tomorrow night, so I’m in on the Longhorns on the spread as the first half of my parlay.
For the second half, I’m going with the under. The total is set at 164.5 points, which I feel is too high (obviously, since I’m taking the under). Texas games only go to 146 points on average this season, and Alabama only goes to 168, which isn’t high enough over 164.5 for me to consider the over.
