Alabama Crimson Tide vs Texas Longhorns
Start Time: 9:00 PM EST
With the NFL done for the season, the NHL on a short hiatus for the Four Nations Cup, and my NBA picks going in a separate column, I needed college basketball to deliver for me tomorrow. And it has come through, with a schedule jam-packed with many of the nation’s top teams in action. But I only need one game for my best bet, and that game is the second-ranked team in the country, the Alabama Crimson Tide, visiting the Texas Longhorns.
The Crimson Tide are rolling, winning six straight and 14 of their last 15 games, including knocking off five ranked teams during that stretch (with their only loss coming to #21 Mississippi). Despite all of this, my advanced stats and number crunching only have Alabama as a two-point favorite tomorrow night in Austin, as Texas’s behind-the-scenes numbers have them as a better team than their record has indicated thus far. Plus, the Longhorns are historically strong at home.
So the Longhorns on the spread is my best bet. Swerve, bro.
