NBA First Scorer Props – December 10
Orlando Magic vs. Milwaukee Bucks

With only two games on the slate for the day, we couldn’t really cherry pick our spots. However, we were still gifted an easy one here with the Bucks and the Magic. The Magic were alright on the tip until Goga Bitadze took over. He’s gone 7-for-17 on the year and has dropped the Magic into being the 24th best team in the league on the tip. Brook Lopez, on the other hand, has the Bucks in 3rd in tip average. Perhaps more importantly, the Bucks are the second best in the NBA at scoring first. They have a 30.6% advantage on the Magic, who are again amongst the worst in the league.
There have been two people clearly on the forefront of the Bucks’ early game action lately. One of which is the aforementioned Lopez, who we cashed with on Sunday at +950. The other is Damian Lillard, who has taken one of the first three shot attempts for the Bucks in each of the last four games. With that being the case, and the fact that it’s hard for the same guy to score first in consecutive games, we’ll root for Dame Time to come early Tuesday.

We’ve got a pair of teams here going in opposite directions for the early action. The Mavericks started off the season awful on the tip with Daniel Gafford looking like he wasn’t even interested in winning it. Now, Dereck Lively II is taking the jumps and is winning 58.3%. The exactly opposite is true for the Thunder. They started off the year with Chet Holmgren, who was one of the very best on the tip. Now they have Isaiah Hartenstein on the tip, who is historically pretty bad on the jump. To make things favor the Mavericks even more, despite having less tip wins on the year as a whole, they still have more first buckets.
There’s a great set of odds coming to us via PJ Washington on Tuesday. The Dallas forward has three of teams’ 13 first buckets this year and has taken the first shot in two of the last three games. One of those games saw him take two of the teams first three shots as well. With odds like this and output like that, you have to be get down with this.
