Indiana Pacers vs Toronto Raptors

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

Things are not going well north of the border, as the Toronto Raptors are out of the gate with only two wins in their first 14 games. And they’ll be without four of their key players tomorrow when they welcome the Indiana Pacers to town.

Yet, my numbers say to take the Raptors on the spread. And these numbers aren’t skewed by key players being out, because the Raptors key players have been out most of the season (Scottie Barnes has only played four games). Indiana played on Sunday, so this is a back-to-back, and the Raptors are at home – that is worth 6.5 points in Toronto’s favor. That’s enough to make this line playable.

Houston Rockets vs Milwaukee Bucks

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

The Milwaukee Bucks are not good, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo are on the injury report for tomorrow (both are probable, though) and Khris Middleton is out. Yet they are still getting too much respect at the books.

So we’ll take advantage of it and take the Houston Rockets plus the points. The Rockets are a good team – advanced stats have them ranked in the top four in the NBA. And while they are on the road and playing the second night of a back-to-back, I still would have this game lined up as Houston -3.
