There are only a couple more weeks left for my 55 straight days of football best bets, and I’m still in the black. Let’s look to add to those earnings with a winning play tomorrow. For my best bet for Wednesday, November 6th: College Football Predictions, we’re headed to Dix Stadium in Kent, Ohio – home of one of the worst teams in the nation – for some mid-week Mid-American Conference action.
Best Bet For Wednesday (November 6th): College Football Predictions
Ohio Bobcats vs Kent State Golden Flashes
Start Time – 7:00 PM EST
The Kent State Golden Flashes are really bad. May I go so far as to say they stink? I may. Currently standing at 0-4 in the Mid-American Conference and 0-8 overall, Football Reference has them ranked 130 out of 134 teams in the nation. They have the worst defense among those 134 teams, and the 129th “best”(?!) offense. Half of their losses have been by 30 points or more, including losing by 71 points to Tennessee and 56 points to Penn State.
So obviously the Ohio Bobcats are my pick here. And I’m siding with the Dant brothers and taking them on the spread as my best bet. The 18.5-point spread originally gave me pause, but the Golden Flashes are losing by 30 points per game on average. And Ohio won their last game by 29 points. With a much better defense and a better offense, the Bobcats should clear this 18.5-point hurdle for us.
