Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks November 4

Ryan Nembhard Higher Than 10.5 Points

Gonzaga opens their season against Baylor in Spokane, WA, and Ryan Nembhard is pack for his second year with the Bulldogs.

This play is based on career average and usage rate. Nembhard averaged over 12 points per game last year. He also logged one of the heaviest workloads in college basketball last year. He routinely played over 35 minutes per night last season.

Nembhard should play his normal workload in what should be a tight game. He only missed scoring more than 10 points in 10 out of 35 games last year. He should manage to compile his way to 11 points or more in what looks like one of the safest plays on the board for an Underdog Fantasy College Basketball entry on November 4th.

Hunter Dickinson Higher Than 15.5 Points?

This is another points total that’s lower than it should be.

Last year, Dickinson absolutely ate in the early non-conference game. He only missed going higher than 15.5 points in one of his first seven games last year.

Dickinson put up 21 against North Carolina Central, 18 against Manhattan, and 31 against Chaminade. He’ll likely play less than 28 minutes, but the Jayhawks make sure he gets fed when he’s out there.

Look for Dickinson to go higher as Kansas rolls to a win against Howard, and make sure he’s a part of your Underdog Fantasy College basketball entry on November 4th.

Braden Smith Lower Than 26.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists

Purdue gets Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Opening Night. The Boilermakers are 21.5-point favorites going into this one and could win by thirty.

There’s no reason to think that Braden Smith will play his typical 34-ish minutes per night. Last year, Smith only played 22 minutes in the first game of the season, and managed 23 PRA. He also went under 26.5 PRA in four of his first five games last year.

Smith is known for filling up a stat sheet, but this is one of the few spots that we’ll want his lower number in an Underdog Fantasy entry.
