This week’s Thursday Night Football game brings us an NFC matchup, with the North visiting the West. For my best bet for Thursday, October 24th: NFL Predictions, we’re heading to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where the home team is mired in the basement of their division.

Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Rams
Start Time – 8:15 PM EST
The Los Angeles Rams are only 2-4 this season. However, both of those wins have come in the comfy confines of their home stadium, the aforementioned SoFi Stadium. However (yes, another ‘however’), their opponent this week, the Minnesota Vikings, are a perfect 2-0 on the road this season. Something’s got to give.
I’m going with the visitors, the Minnesota Vikings, on the spread for my best bet tomorrow. At 5-1, Minnesota is tied for first in the NFC North, and Football Reference’s Simple Rating System rates the Vikings as the best team in the NFL this season (based on point spread and strength of schedule). Based on the two teams’ SRS, Minnesota should be expected to win this game tomorrow by 17 points before you consider the home-field advantage of the Rams. I think Minnesota can more than cover the three points for us.
