The visitors to Raymond James Stadium tomorrow, the Baltimore Ravens, are surging, winning four straight games after dropping their first two of the season. Meanwhile, the home team Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been consistently inconsistent, swapping wins with losses after winning their first two games of the season. Different paths, but both teams find themselves in first place with a 4-2 record. Despite the inconsistency, I’m still going with the home team with my pick.
More specifically, I’m taking Tampa Bay on the spread, getting them at +4. For a first-place team that is 2-1 at home, that’s a steal. Plus, my fellow SGPN crew are almost all in on this play, which makes me feel like I’m on the right path. Additionally, Tampa Bay has a much higher Strength of Schedule and Simple Rating than Baltimore does this season, so I think we’re getting a nice bargain here.
