As mentioned, the injury-riddled Atlanta Braves are battling to stay in the National League playoff race, but at least they have a very winnable series this weekend in Miami. But I’m not interested in making their -205 moneyline my best bet tomorrow – too chalky.

No, instead I’m making a play on the total. I’m going under 8.5 for this game. Tomorrow’s starters, Charlie Morton for Atlanta and Valente Bellozo for Miami, have been sharp lately (mostly Morton) and neither of these teams are high-scoring squads. Let’s hope for a pitching duel tomorrow in South Florida.
