Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – May 6

Tyrese Haliburton – Lower than 17.5 Points

Taking a lower on Tyrese Haliburton’s points seems to be an obvious play at this point for me. Especially going up against the killers on the New York Knicks.

Haliburton only averaged 16.0 ppg against the Milwaukee Bucks in the Pacers’ first-round series win. He scored 18 or more in only two of the series’s six games. And he has back spasms heading into Game 1 tomorrow against New York. It all adds up to a lower than 17.5 points night.

Jalen Brunson – Higher than 34.5 Points

On the flip side, I feel like you have to take the higher on points for Jalen Brunson every game, even if it’s as high as 34.5 for Monday’s Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers.

Brunson averaged a blistering 35.5 ppg in Round 1 against the Philadelphia 76ers. He’s scored 35 or more in four straight games and five of his last seven. Plus, Indiana plays loose and free and has one of the worst defenses in the league.

Nikola Jokic – Higher than 29.5 Points

This isn’t exactly a must-win game for the Denver Nuggets on Monday night, but they definitely don’t want to go down 2-0 on their home floor against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

So I think Nikola Jokic will look to pour in the points in Game 2. He scored 32 in Game 1 and scored 33 against the Los Angeles Lakers a couple of games before that. I think tomorrow night brings us another 30+ points from The Joker.
