Los Angeles Angels vs Tampa Bay Rays

Start Time – 1:10 pm EST

I’ve lost on my best bet on back-to-back days, so it’s time to go back to an old reliable play to get us back on track. And that, of course, would be a baseball total.

For my best bet for Thursday, we head to Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay for the Los Angeles Angels vs the Tampa Bay Rays game. The total is set at 8.5 runs, which is too low by my estimation. Both teams are average in terms of runs scored, combining for about nine per game (which is higher than 8.5). But over the first two games of this series, they’ve scored 10 and 13 runs. And the pitchers taking the bump tomorrow, Griffin Canning and Ryan Pepiot, have a combined 15.28 ERA this season. Over 8.5 it is then.
