Underdog Fantasy NBA Daily Pick ‘Em Plays – April 11

DeMar DeRozan – Higher than 28.5 Points

The old man still has plenty of game. DeMar DeRozan is having a typical DeMar DeRozan season for the Chicago Bulls this year, and he’s heating up just in time for the playoffs.

Averaging 23.7 ppg for the season, DD is averaging 28.8 points in April. He’s scored 30 or more in back-to-back games, three of his last four, and four of his last six. And Thursday’s opponent, the Detroit Pistons, doesn’t exactly have a stout defense.

Domantas Sabonis – Lower than 18.5 Points

Domantas Sabonis’s double-double streak ended at 61 games on Tuesday as he only scored eight points against the Oklahoma City Thunder. And I don’t see him having a high-scoring night on Wednesday, either, as he faces the New Orleans Pelicans.

Sabonis averages 19.4 ppg for the season, but he’s only at 16.2 for April. He’s failed to score 19 or more in four straight games and eight of his last nine (and 10 of his last 12 if you want to go back even further). Plus, he only scored 17 points last time he faced these very same Pelicans.

Stephen Curry – Higher than 25.5 Points

The Golden State Warriors still have plenty to play for. As of this writing, they can end up anywhere from sixth to 10th in the Western Conference, so a lot is riding on their final few games.

So I have faith that Stephen Curry is going to go off on Thursday against the lowly Portland Trail Blazers. He scored 27 last time these two teams played. With more on the line tomorrow, I expect him to at least match that.
